Informed, Involved, at Ease

We built Radley Place around the belief that families are not bystanders in care — they are essential partners. Our technology and culture make that partnership genuinely effortless.

Our Family Philosophy

Transparency Is Not Optional Here

When Nathaniel Radley designed this community, he spoke to dozens of families who had loved ones in care. The most common complaint was not about clinical standards — it was about feeling shut out. Left to wonder. Unable to get a clear answer.

Radley Place was built to eliminate that experience. Every family member of a resident has access to our Family Portal — a real-time window into their loved one's daily life, care updates, health records, and direct communication with the care team.

Community Liaison Aisha Morales guides each family from first contact through to settled residency, and remains a named point of contact throughout the entire stay. You will always know who to call and they will always pick up.

The Journey

What to Expect

From first contact to first morning — here is how Radley Place guides families through every step of joining our community.

01

Your First Visit

Aisha meets you personally and guides you through the entire community — no script, no pressure. Most families say they feel the difference within the first five minutes. We set aside two hours and answer every question you have.

02

Care Assessment

Dr. Tanaka and the care team conduct a thorough, compassionate assessment — ideally in your loved one's current home. This builds the personalised digital care plan that governs every aspect of their life here from day one.

03

Move-In Day

Suites are fully prepared in advance to your loved one's preferences. Aisha coordinates everything. We ask families to plan to stay for the first dinner — and we make that dinner worth staying for.

Family Voices

What Families Tell Us

"The portal changed everything for me. I live in London. Before Radley Place, I spent every morning anxious about Dad. Now I check the app with my coffee and I know he had a good night. That peace of mind is worth everything."
— Priya K., daughter of resident, London, UK
"We had a difficult first month — Mom was resistant. Aisha called us every other day, was completely honest about the adjustment, and never made us feel like we'd made a mistake. She was right. Mom loves it now."
— Daniel and Rosa T., son and daughter-in-law of resident
"Seven senior communities. Seven tours. Radley Place was the only one where we walked in and immediately felt that the residents were thriving — not just being cared for. There is a profound difference."
— Marcus L., son of Memory Care resident
"The care is exceptional, obviously. But what stays with me is that Nathaniel himself has sat with us at family conferences. He knows my father's name. That tells you everything about how this place is run."
— Stephanie W., daughter of Assisted Living resident
Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

What are the visiting hours at Radley Place?+

Radley Place has no set visiting hours. Families and friends are welcome to visit at any time, seven days a week. Our philosophy is simple: if someone lives here, their home should always be accessible to the people they love. The only ask is that you be mindful of residents' personal care times early in the morning and respect quiet hours after 10pm in the residential corridors.

What does it cost to live at Radley Place?+

Our fees reflect the premium standard of care and environment we provide, and vary by care level and suite type. We are fully transparent about all costs from the first conversation — there are no hidden charges. We accept private funding and long-term care insurance. Aisha can walk you through all fee structures and connect you with independent financial advisors who specialise in elder care if helpful.

Can my loved one bring their own furniture?+

Absolutely. Our suites are designed as a foundation — a beautiful, functional canvas that residents make their own. We actively encourage families to bring meaningful furniture, art, photographs, and personal possessions. Prior to move-in, our team will work with you on the suite configuration and can advise on what works best in the space. The goal is for the room to feel unmistakably theirs from day one.

What happens in a medical emergency?+

Registered nurses are on duty 24 hours a day. In an emergency, our clinical team responds immediately and initiates appropriate care. If hospitalisation is required, we have established partnerships with OHSU and Providence Health. Families are contacted without delay via phone and through the portal. All emergency protocols are reviewed quarterly and our response standards are formally audited. You will always be kept informed, in real time.

Is there a waiting list?+

Given our intentionally small community of 64 residents and high occupancy, we frequently have a waiting list for certain care levels. We encourage families to make contact early — even if a move is months or years away. Being on the waiting list carries no obligation. Respite care placements sometimes become available at shorter notice. Reach out and we will give you an honest picture of current availability.

Are short-term or respite stays available?+

Yes. Our Respite Care programme accommodates stays from three days to twelve weeks, subject to availability. Every respite resident receives a full pre-admission assessment, a personalised care plan, and complete access to all amenities, meals, activities, and services — exactly as our long-term residents do. Many families use a respite stay as a way for their loved one to experience Radley Place before committing to a permanent move.

How will I stay informed about my loved one's care?+

Through our Family Portal — daily care notes, health updates, activity logs, and direct secure messaging. Through your named key worker, available by phone. Through formal quarterly care conferences attended by the resident, family, and clinical team. And through our open-door visiting policy — you are always welcome to see for yourself. We believe the best answer to "how is my loved one?" is one you can always find out instantly.
