From independent-minded assisted living to round-the-clock skilled nursing, Heritage House provides the right level of support — and always with the warmth this community was founded on.
Level One
Our assisted living programme offers personalised support with the activities of daily living while honouring the privacy, preferences, and independence every resident deserves. This is not a one-size-fits-all model — each resident receives a bespoke care plan, reviewed monthly and adjusted as needs evolve.
Private and companion suites are available, all within Heritage House's beautifully maintained historic building. Residents are free to furnish and personalise their rooms, and have access to all communal spaces, dining, and the full activity programme.
Level Two
Heritage House's dedicated Memory Care neighbourhood provides a secure, calm, and expertly structured environment for residents living with Alzheimer's disease, other forms of dementia, and related cognitive conditions. Our team receives specialist dementia care training and holds qualifications from the Alzheimer's Association.
The Memory Care neighbourhood is purpose-designed: safe wandering paths, sensory garden, and personalised life-story work that connects residents to their own histories and brings comfort through familiarity.
Level Three
For residents requiring round-the-clock clinical attention, Heritage House's Skilled Nursing unit provides hospital-grade care in a deeply humane setting. Our registered nurses work alongside licensed practical nurses, certified nursing aides, and on-call physician staff to ensure clinical needs are met without sacrificing comfort or warmth.
Skilled nursing at Heritage House is also home to our in-house rehabilitation programme, offering physical, occupational, and speech therapy for residents recovering from surgery, stroke, or injury.
Level Four
Caring for a loved one at home is one of the most demanding and loving things a person can do. Heritage House's Respite Care programme exists to give family caregivers the rest they need, knowing that their loved one is receiving the full Heritage House standard of care during their absence.
Respite stays are available from a minimum of three days to a maximum of twelve weeks. Residents on respite stays receive full access to all communal facilities, meals, activity programming, and care services appropriate to their needs.
Areas of Specialisation
Our clinical and care teams hold qualifications and experience across the following specialist areas. When you enquire, tell us about your loved one's specific needs and we will match them with the right expertise.
How We Work
Every resident has a written, personalised care plan developed in consultation with them and their family. Plans are reviewed monthly and updated whenever needs change, ensuring care always reflects the real person — not a generic profile.
We hold formal care conferences every quarter, and our team is available between meetings to speak with families. Our family portal provides daily updates, and we operate an open-door visiting policy throughout the community.
Clinical care is necessary — but it is never sufficient. Our care model attends equally to social wellbeing, mental stimulation, spiritual support, and physical comfort, because we know that quality of life depends on all of them together.
Our Social Worker Beverly Charleston is available to guide your family through every option — with no obligation and no pressure. Call us or arrange a visit today.
